We will be offering special Maternity Sessions in Jan and Feb of 2008. Our session dates will take place on a few Sundays during these two months. We are looking for 10 "future mommies" to complete our portfolio on our new website. If you are interested, please shoot us an email at theportraitgallery@gmail.com. We will send you all the specifics of the session. We currently have 7 clients booked and have 3 available spots to fill. Your session fee is FREE for participating and you will receive (1) complimentary 8x10 of your choice as well. You must be at least 7 months pregnant to participate. Please do not hesitate to participate due to stretch marks etc. Your final prints will be completely enhanced and there will not be any "stretch marks" showing! Also, you need not be a "NEW" Mommy, if this is your second, third, fourth child, please contact us and we will incorporate your children into your Maternity shots with you! Your husband/partner is also welcome to participate in your session. We look forward to hearing from you! *NOTE* You will be working with an all female team!

Naughty or Nice
This is a card that I created for our favorite lab tech! She has got one of the most cutest little boys I have ever seen. These are a few of the images that I captured with my partner in crime. He was so interested in everything going on by the tree, esp the presents. In one of our final takes, he was so frusterated after opening the present and finding nothing at all in the box, that he began to cry. I myself loved the honesty of the image! After all, don't we all feel a little overwhelmed at Christmas? Anyhow, I think that the Naughty or Nice saying completes the overall feel of the holiday card! Thanks Anita, for coming to the studio and letting us capture some images of your little man. You do the best lab work on our images!

Babes in the tub!
Recently, I took some images of my God son and his beautiful sister for their Christmas card. Little man, is not found of the camera, or doing anything that he does not want to do for that matter. When we work we work on Sam's time! There were countless tears shed and this is what we got. I created a very simple card for them this year, but I think that they saying is perfect and they look so sweet!. I sure do love these two little angels. Thanks to my special little sweetheart Emma for putting up with her little brother and trying to keep him still in the tub! What are we going to do when monmy has that 2nd little brother for you?????

I can not even tell you how much fun I had with these two running around town taking images. They truely were troopers, esp because it did get quite chilly! I have included a few of my favorites for your viewing pleasure. Thanks so much guys for putting up with all of my "ideas" esp when it came to the train track! I had so much fun and would love to do it again sometime......when it is a bit warmer outside! Let say, maybe the beach?!?

B. Family
Here are a few of my favorites from my most recent session. These three were a riot. I just love kids. You never know what they are going to bring to the session! The two boys tried hard to amuse their little sister this morning! She is only 2, so it is obvious that her patience for photography is going to be thin. But she tried so hard to work for me and I really appreciated that! Boys you did wonderful! Thanks so much for all of your help with your little sister during our session.
Thank you so much for inviting me into your lovely home to capture your three beautiful children! Have a wondeful Christmas!

lil Sweethearts
Here are some of my favorite images of the girls. Believe it or not these really do show their true personalities! It was a bitter cold afternoon, which we were wondering if we would even be able to shoot at all!!! 15 shots are all that was taken, and thank God above that we got a few to seal the deal!

TROUBLE?!?!?
Below, you are going to catch a glimpse into what I had to deal with today!!! Can you tell how this session is going to be???? Ok to be honest, this little guy only works when he wants to. Today was not the day! He said 4 shots, that is it...... and he meant it! Histerical......YES!
I just love this image. I have seen this little girl grow up right before my eyes! I just think this image (the only serious one of the 30 min session) shows what a beautiful young lady she truely is becoming!
Ok, I had to add this image because.........it truely shows you the atmostphere of our session together! No joke. These two went on and on. I just love how her "little" brother is dying with laughter when he sees her go down! Warning: NO CHILDREN WERE HURT WHILE CAPTURING THIS SESSION!!!!
Do you have any comments???????? Many of you may know, these are the children of one of my assistants. Obviously they have been on digital overload these past years of their lives. I am sure that it seems to them that either their mother or myself are always coming up with more reasons that they need to be in front of the lens. Wether it be sports, holidays, birthdays, or a special photo shoot. Today made me appreciate alot! Not to mention, it was definately a refreshing shoot! :) Sometimes you just have to let the inner CRAZY take over!

Park Session
......and the boys are back! Here is one of my favorite images from our session together!
The boys and I have a bit of a competition each session that we have together. They each work very hard to win 1st place in our modeling competition. As you may know, T- Bone won last time with his "Calvin Klien" esque add image. Below you will find an individual image of each of these little gentlemen... This time Special B won hands down! He is the little gentleman in the last image. He won this competition for an overwhelming ability to give me the "attitude" and "look" as seen in all the magazines! I think this image reflects the look from LL Bean or possibly The Children's Place ad. What do you think?
What makes this session so special to me........is that at breakfast the day of their session, each boy decided where and how he wanted to be captured! When it was time for their individuals, they ran across the field and got into position! I loved it!
Let us not forget the "bridge image". I absolutely love bridges! Everytime I see one, I want to capture someone on them! Thanks so much gentlemen for another awesome session together! You guys ROCK!!!!! Can't wait for our next session together!

Kevin and Nicole
We had a great time capturing Kevin and Nicole this week. They will be getting married next October. We went to Deep River to Capture their Love, due to Kevin proposing to Nicole at this park. Kevin is a chef and Nicole is in pre med school (how did they get the best of both worlds????). We are looking forward to their wedding next fall! I love how Nicole has to warm Kevin up to the camera! He def. does not enjoy getting his portrait taken. (but you would never know it, would you) You guys were so sweet! We loved hearing about the story of you guys getting together in life. No matter where you two were, your paths just kept crossing! I call that Devine intervention!!!! Thanks for allowing us to be part of your lives. We really had a great time getting to know you. Can't wait for our session together next week! See you at the playground.............

Avery and Riley
We had an awesome opportunity to capture two really cute kids today! Originally we were worried that the fall weather might be a bit crisp for the kids!!! We could not have been further from that original thought. The weather was more like bathing suit weather..........hitting in at 94 degrees today! These little ones really did a great job even though it was so hot outside. Thank God for Angie, their mom who suggested we grab some cold drinks and relax at a nearby restaurant! She even offered to treat us to some great food! We have been so blessed to have such great clients. As I have said before, this is why I love my job. The people that I meet are so nice and heartfelt. Thanks so much Angie for your hospitality! (we met Angie at a purse party that she was hosting, if anyone is interested in hosting a purse party contact me at ksgallery@gmail.com and I will forward her information to you! She has a fabulous collection of bags, wallets, and sunglasses!) Here are some of my favorites images from their session. The top one is one of my all time favorites. I love kids and bridges, there is just something timeless about this look. And yes, that top image has made it to a coveted spot on our website!
When you see these kids running...they are not joking, it was that hot under their little feet! Thank you so much for a great session! I can't wait to work with you in the future! Riley and Avery you two totally rock!
